Ahh Cynthia & Alex! I have a pretty good feeling I will be seeing these two again in the future. I first met this sweet couple over a zoom call and immediately felt connected to them! The conversation just flowed so easily and we were all pumped for their Enchanted Rock Engagement Session.
Fast forward to a month or so later, we met up at Enchanted Rock and all exhausted ourselves climbing nearly to the top. I don’t think we anticipated how windy it would be but Cynthia’s red dress just blew in the wind so beautifully as the sky lit up with color. We popped a little champagne and hiked back down in near darkness, which I don’t recommend!
Cynthia & Alex loved their engagement photos so much, they decided to do it all again but this time at The San Antonio Fire Museum. Since Alex is a Houston Fire Fighter, we were able to pull out one of the vintage trucks. It was so much fun and totally something different than the norm, which I loved!
By this point, these two already felt like old friends and I was so energized to photograph their Lost Mission Wedding Day! When it was time for Cynthia’s Bridal Session, this gave us a great opportunity to explore her Texas Hill Country Wedding Venue together and discuss all of her favorite locations around the venue. Cynthia and I were totally on the same page with highlighting all the pretty arches and features of this Mission-style wedding chapel.
On their Lost Mission Wedding Day there are a few memorable moments that really stand out in my mind. The first was Cynthia getting into in her wedding dress. I placed her in front of this beautiful arch and her grandmother arrived happened to arrive at the same time so we included her and her mother as well to help. It was such a beautiful, memorable moment and I know it meant so much to this sweet bride.
The second moment was Cynthia’s Dad seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress. Wow, seriously get your tissues ready! It was just precious.
The last was when Cynthia & Alex were surround by the Mariachis toward the end of their newlywed photos. The song they played was so moving and had these two crying lots of happy tears.
Working with Cynthia & Alex as their San Antonio Wedding Photographer, was such a joy! Best wishes you two and I hope to see you again soon! xo
