Hello!!

I just adored working with Crystal & Michael for their vibrant, fall wedding  in  McKinney, Texas last October!  These two were all about celebrating BIG with each other, their family and friends! When you scroll down through the  reception photos, you will see exactly what I am talking about!

We started out the day getting ready at The Sheraton in McKinney and I was just swooning over Crystal’s details. I absolutely loved the different shades of purple that she incorporated into her wedding day.  I don’t see a ton of purple at weddings, I have no clue why because it’s gorgeous, so it was refreshing to work with a new color palette. Since it was also a  fall wedding, the colors of the bridesmaid dresses really popped against colors of the sunset during bridal party portraits. It was just a perfect combination!

Some of my favorite moments from their wedding day included Crystal finally revealing her wedding dress to all her bridesmaids. I just love when brides decide to do this! It’s a great opportunity for some extra excitement because  bridesmaids are always some of the happiest people to see  in your dress for the first time and the photos are yet another great memory you get to add to the wedding day! Another favorite was when Crystal and Michael did a second grand entrance into their reception wearing clothing from each other’s culture. Crystal wore a traditional Nigerian Dress and Michael sported a Filipino Barong Tagalog. It was such a welcomed surprise for their family and it was just the best way to get everyone on the dance floor to start the party! I loved how important it was for both of them to show respect and appreciation to the other’s family  and it was the perfect way to bring everyone a bit closer!
