I’m sharing Matt & Julia’s heartfelt spring wedding at The Grand Ivory in Leonard, Texas. I photographed this wedding as an associate photographer for my dear friend Emily Chappell and was so excited to be out at this stunning property and working with these two high school sweethearts.

This venue is absolutely stunning! I love the separate cottages set up for the bridal party and the open air chapel over the lake is simply stunning. My favorite location though was the large brick arches where we took wedding party photos and couple portraits with the sunlight peeking through from behind the trees just perfectly.

One of my favorites from Matt & Julia’s wedding day was Julia seeing herself as a bride in her dress for the first time. It was absolutely precious when she first viewed herself in the mirror and there were lots of tears! Since these two opted not to do a first look, watching Matt’s reaction as Julia walked down the aisle was another moment with all the tears. You could really feel the deep connection that these two shared  and the love support and support from their family and friends. It was truly a magical day!

It was such a privilege to photograph these two and to be part of such joyful wedding day. I wish you two the very best!!
