I’m excited to share Heather & Blake’s joyous, spring wedding at Rockwall Manor in Dallas, Texas. These two were seriously one of the happiest couples that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Hands down, Blake has the best smile around and Heather laughs at everything especially when Blake is involved! I’m sure you can imagine how much fun these two are together in front of the camera and I was thrilled that their wedding day was the one to kick off my crazy three day wedding weekend from this past spring.
Some of my favorite moments throughout their wedding day included the prayer Heather had with her mom, all the bridesmaids and Blakes’ Mom right before she walked down the aisle. It was such a calm, heartfelt moment that really focused on what weddings truly are all about. The second moment was the total opposite of calm and really left a lot of their guests at the reception speechless! Blake pulled out his guitar during the garter removal and started singing ‘Wild Thing’ while Heather sat on a chair in the middle of the reception with everyone circling around her. Toward the end of the song and out of nowhere Blake threw the guitar across the venue and slid under Heather’s dress to grab it. It was hilarious, shocking and entertaining all wrapped into one little moment and was definitely the most memorable and fun garter removal I’ve ever seen!
Congratulations to you both! Best wishes!
