Dallas Wedding Photographer | Poetry Springs Rockwall, TX

Callie and Carlos were married just this past Friday at Poetry Springs in Rockwall, TX and I’m so excited share their wedding day with you so soon! These two were just the sweetest couple to work with. Somehow they tied the knot with a perfect, sunny outdoor ceremony during one of the rainiest weekends in recent history. To give you an idea of how much rain we had in DFW, I was re-routed that night due to flooding and I could barely see out of my windshield because it was so bad. To say this couple has a bit of luck going for them would be an understatement!

These two met while Callie was working at Lowe’s and Carlos would come in every day while he worked for a remodeling company. Callie caught his eye, a friend helped them exchange numbers and the rest is history. Callie thinks Carlos is just the sweetest, even when he may be tripping going up the stairs which I’ve been told happens quite a bit and Carlos loves to take Callie to soccer games and the movies of course after he’s had his coffee! These two were such a pleasure to work with and I loved how they openly shared some of their little quirks with me.

Some of my favorite moments from their big day included Callie’s Mom helping her with her finishing touches and Torie’s Maid of Honor speech because she was absolutely hilarious. She had that dry humor that totally just rolled off the tongue and everyone was laughing hard. Callie also had a bit of the giggles during the ceremony that was just perfect. I’m not sure if something happened or it was just nerves but it totally lightened the mood and had Carlos blushing a bit. It really was the sweetest!
