Hello!
Oh Candace & Michael, what a sweet, sweet couple! I’m so excited to be sharing their full wedding with you.
These two are just absolutely perfect for each other. Michael is a calmness for Candace who reminds her not to take life too seriously and Michael brings a great sense of humor and appetite for all of Candace’s Pinterest Recipes that she loves to make. They enjoy running together, drinking way too much coffee, traveling to far off places like their amazing honeymoon in Italy (I’m not jealous AT ALL) and Michael’s first gift to her was a pair of roller skates that they still take out for a spin every now and then. These two knew each other in college at Texas Tech and reconnected back in Dallas at Watermark Church after Candace invited him to join her and her friends. They share a lot of the same friends and are always out and about having double dates and trying new new restaurants. Candace and Michael are total relationship goals!
I first met Candace & Michael last Summer at Starbuck’s and we chatted a ton about all their wedding details. I loved how Candace was so organized and already on top of everything. She would totally make one amazing wedding planner.
On the day of the wedding, their ceremony and reception included blush, navy and golds and totally gave them the classic, romantic feel they were going for. Candace’s soft wavy hair was just gorgeous and her red lipstick gave her the perfect amount of pop.
Some of my favorite moments throughout the day were of course her sister Audrey forgetting the rings. Candace, don’t kill me for loving this part but I’ve been to countless weddings and this moment just sets your day apart. You will both talk about this together and laugh for the rest of your lives and you can totally use it as leverage for when she gets married 🙂 It was seriously the cutest moment and had everyone laughing. There was also a quick moment where Candace almost kissed Michael by accident before they were married and the look on her face was just priceless. Candace’s Dad had the cutest welcome speech and her grandpa talking to everyone about dancing in the olden days was just heartwarming. But one of the best moments throughout the day was Michael’s face seeing Candace for the first time during the first look. His expression just exuded pure happiness.
Congratulations to you Candace & Michael. It was such pleasure working with you both!
