Hello!!

I am so excited to share with you the second wedding ever at Monroe Pearson, the newest Walter’s Weddings Estates Venue in Downtown Denton, TX. I have been looking forward to Kelsie & Brice’s Wedding for quite some and when Kelsie told me about the old industrial, chic vibe of her venue that was still in the process of being built, I couldn’t wait to go check it out.

The Robinson Wedding day was filled with so many special moments. Kelsie had one of the most precious first looks with her dad and quite a few tears were shed, possibly including myself. In addition, Brice and his mom’s dance together was such a hit and totally adorable. I loved that he wasn’t afraid to get down and do the hokey-pokey with just a couple hundred guests watching. I can only imagine how his mom felt being up there dancing to a song that I’m sure brings back memories of him as a child. The parent dances always pull on my heart strings.

However, my most favorite moment of the day was Kelsie and Brice’s Portraits after the ceremony. Kelsie and Brice decided to not to have a first look so when this happens, couples’ portraits are always extra special as it’s the first time after the whirlwind of the ceremony that they get to spend some time together alone and I knew with Kelsie’s constant laughter and Brice being such a gentleman that it would be just perfect.

Originally we were going to head to TWU Gardens but the wind was absolutely insane so we decided to stick around the venue and I don’t think it could have gone any better. The front of Monroe Pearson was the perfect backdrop with all the brick to go along with the details of their day and the patio gave great street views with the downtown courthouse peeking through in the distance as the sun lit up from behind them. It was total wedding goals.
