So I told myself about seven months ago that I should post some of these. Some of you may even remember a quick photo that I posted from this set back in May or so. Yup, photographers are really bad about posting their own stuff or at least I am. Don’t even ask me about my own wedding album, which will probably be done by the end of 2013 if all goes right 🙂 I do have some prints out around the house, which is a step in the right direction.
Last night I finally started culling through some of my photos from ICPC ,a contest sponsored by IBM for student programmers that I shoot each year. This is a several day event with an immediate turnaround on photos and honestly although I really enjoy it, at the end I am normally exhausted on my different levels. Hence, why none show up on my personal blog. I am thinking now though that this procrastination may have paid off because going through these photos helped me to solidify what I want for Christmas.
I’ve recently been thinking heavily about getting back into dance. I honestly wish I was never ‘allowed’ to stop. I took jazz, ballet and tap all growing up and if you really, REALLY, know me then you know that I do wings (tap dancers you will know this) and the most Radom shuffling , preferably backwards, at any given moment. It’s still in my bones! I mean I was pretty good or at least was placed front and center for my good looks. (I’m kidding). So when Donnie asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I really wanted to put some thought into it. 1. This is because I love presents 2. This is because I love awesome presents. Well Donnie, I hope you are reading this. There are quite a few dance studios in our neighborhood and I am looking forward to getting back to that place I didn’t know I loved so much.
