Hey Guys!

Remember these two? Well they contacted me with the craziest idea back in Spring of 2013! Jen and Nate came out to Oceanside, California for their engagement session and gave me all their secret details of their upcoming surprise wedding.  I was super excited because this was my first ‘surprise wedding’ but I was also a little concerned that maybe by accident I would spill the beans or say hello to Jen like I know (because I did)!  I was seriously giddy for these two. I knew any couple planning something like this  had to be just awesome!

They invited some of their closest family and friends to a condo in oceanside for the weekend, which since it was a frequent vacation spot for everyone it wasn’t really too far out of the ordinary .  All their friends and family were super excited that they were finally getting engaged, but little did they know. 

The day of  family and friends pulled me into the house and kept me hidden from Jen! It was great playing along with everything, knowing what was coming.  When Nate proposed Jen told him to that she wanted to do it right now and the reaction from all their family and friends was priceless. After a short break, allowing everyone to get changed, they  had a beautiful ceremony on the rooftop. This was such an exciting day and I am super grateful that I got to know this outrageous couple! 🙂

Their surprise wedding was shared on Visitoceanside.org this past week, which is quite appropriate for these two because this is their favorite spot!
